Lovely piece to share with you! I found this bit of embroidery on Ruby Lane last month, and put it on layaway. It is, of course, an interpretation of Gainsborough's portrait of the actress Sarah Siddons. The dealer found it locally in a 'country sale' (which I assume is like a flea market?) in England, and dates it circa 1960.

Hey there, People! So, Sunday evening or thereabouts my Wi-Fi connection rolled over one last time, and expired. After two and a half days with no internet I couldn't stand it anymore (pathetic, I know), so I took myself down to the nearest Clear boutique and signed up for their 4G network.
